If you've been wanting to share in a ministry together as a Catholic married couple, Catholic Engaged Encounter is a great way to do it. It's family-friendly, flexible and a lot of fun and best of all it enriches your own marriage. If you're like most people, your calendar is full and finding time to volunteer is very difficult. This ministry doesn't require a lot of your time and is flexible enough to work with many schedules and demands. 32nd Annual Knights of Columbus Life Chain

On Sunday, October 6 from 1-2pm, people with gather for a one-hour peaceful silent prayer vigil for the health and safety of the unborn at the intersection of 10600 S and State Street in Sandy, UT. This event is being held at the same time in cities across the country. Volunteers will be asked to stand on the sidewalk near this intersection for one hour of silent prayer. The Knights will provide signs, but everyone is welcome to bring their own. The event is family-oriented, peaceful, and respectful. There will be nothing graphic or provocative. There will also be no publicly-led prayers. Everyone will be asked to pray silently. We'd encourage members of our Catholic Utah community to attend and join with other Catholics at this meaningful event!

St. Mary's Feast of the Assumption Procession, Mass, and Fiesta

9:00am on Sunday, August 11--Process from St. Mary's Old Town Chapel (oldest Catholic Church in Utah) down the streets of Historic Old Town Park City, through the beautiful trails and meadow beside Highway 224 to St. Mary's main Church on White Pine Canyon Road with Fr. Christopher Gray and the St. Mary's Parish as they celebrate the Catholic Faith and our Patron St. Mary of the Assumption. All parishioners, newcomers, visitors, friends of St. Mary’s and Catholics across Utah and beyond are invited. Catherine's of Siena will host a talk with Dr. Denis McNamara from the Liturgical Institute. He will present on ‘How To Make A Church "Look Like" A Church: Sacramental Theology of Church Buildings.’  Dr. McNamara is an architect and art historian (Yale University, University of Virginia), teacher, speaker, and author of multiple books and articles. His academic specialties include the theology of liturgical art and architecture, classicism, and sacramental aesthetics. He co-founded the Liturgical Institute at Mundelein with our very own Msgr. Mannion.

St Catherine of Siena-Lenten Retreat
