Greetings Catholic Utah Community!  We hope you are having a blessed Advent!  Please read the following carefully to find out what is happening in your Catholic Utah!.

Events Planned By Catholic Utah:

Announcing our first Catholic Utah Family and Friends Holy Hour and Dinner on Tuesday, January 14!  OPEN TO ALL--RSVP NEEDED!
We are so excited to invite you to join us at St. Ambrose parish for a family-friendly Holy Hour and from 5-6pm followed by dinner in the social hall.  Stop by for a few minutes or for the whole hour to spend some time in prayer at Adoration with the Blessed Sacrament.  We will begin a Rosary together at 5:30pm and then proceed to the social hall for a casual dinner (suggested donation of $5 per person/$20 per family).  Please let us know if you are planning to join us for dinner so we can make sure we have enough food.  RSVP by emailing CatholicUtah@gmail.com.  Children are welcome and encouraged to attend.  We will have coloring and other activities available during our Holy Hour.  Please reply to this email if you are interested in helping with some of the logistics and planning of this event!  Thank you!  FAQ:  What is Adoration?

February 4th: Catholic Utah book club for Mid-20's to Mid-50's Adults
Whether you plan to come once a year or every time, we would love to have you join us in reading and learning about our Catholic faith!  Our next meeting will be February 4th and we will be discussing The Lamb's Supper: The Mass as Heaven on Earth by Scott Hahn.  If you are interested in being added to the list for updates about our Catholic book club, please email Gracie at gepalomb@gmail.com.

Save the Date for Theology Uncorked on February 20th!
Leticia Adams will be coming to speak to our mid-20's to mid-50's community about her journey of Faith and Grief on February 20th.  She will share her experiences of working to keep living after the suicide of her oldest son and the role her faith has played in her life.  We are working to finalize a venue for this event and hope to open registration early in January.

Help our Catholic Utah Team!
Catholic Utah is looking for more team members to help us organize new parts of our ministry.  If you are looking for a way to be more involved in building our Catholic Utah community and helping our team, please send an email to CatholicUtah@gmail.com.  The time commitment will be flexible and minimal.  Thank you for your help!

Thank you to our generous donors!  Last chance to make a donation to Catholic Utah for 2019!
Thank you to all of you who have supported Catholic Utah with your time and treasure this year!   Because of your generosity, we have been able to put deposits down for speakers for the rest of 2020 (exciting spring speaker to be announced soon).  We are now working on requests for speakers for 2021 and continue to have a need for donations to send deposits and cover expenses we incur with paying for travel, hotel, advertising, venues, and food and refreshments for our events.  The work of this ministry is done entirely by volunteering our time and your donations are fully used to help work toward our mission of Educating and Building Community for Utah Catholics.  Donations can be made at CatholicUtah.org/donate.  If you are interested in making a donation before the end of 2019 to support this ministry, thank you!  Catholic Utah is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and all donations are 100% tax-deductible.
