Events Planned By Catholic Utah

Exciting News!  Taco-Tuesday Holy Hour and Dinner is Happening MONTHLY!  Join us February 18th--RSVP NEEDED!
We had a great turnout at our first Family and Friends Holy Hour and Taco Tuesday Dinner and have decided to make this a Catholic Utah monthly event!  It was very special to hear all our kids saying the Rosary together, followed by good food and conversation.  All are welcome to join us when you can for these events--no commitment or obligation.  Our next Taco-Tuesday Family and Friends Holy Hour is Tuesday, February 18th at St. Ambrose!  We will have Adoration from 5-6 and say the Rosary at 5:30.  Taco dinner will be afterwards at 6pm for $10 per adult/$30 per family.  You must RSVP by emailing CatholicUtah@gmail.com for these events to make sure we order enough food.  Save the date for March 10, April 7, and May 12 and plan to join us sometime this spring!  We also now have the option of paying for your dinner on our website for those interested:  CatholicUtah.org.  Coloring books, worksheets, books, crayons, and rosaries will be available.

About Leticia Adams from her website:
My name is Leticia Ochoa Adams. My oldest son Anthony committed suicide on March 8th, 2017. My life has been insane from the day that I was born. I have never met my father and my mother came from a long line of generational poverty and trauma which was handed down to me and I handed on down to my children. In 2010 I became Catholic and started the hard work of changing my life. I feel that I started healing from my own trauma and breaking the cycle of generational trauma too late for my oldest son’s sake. I know that no one thing led to his suicide and nobody is to blame, but I want to make it my life’s mission to help others who are trying to break their own cycles as much as I can.

 Book Club Meeting Rescheduled!
Several people were sick and the weather was a little rough last week, so the book club meeting was canceled and has been rescheduled!  We will now be meeting on Wednesday, March 11 to discuss Scott Hahn's Lamb's Supper.  If you are interested in being included in our book club email list to find out details of upcoming meetings and books, please email Gracie and gepalomb@gmail.com.

Save the Date!  April 24 Theology Uncorked and April 25 Theology for All with demonologist Adam Blai!
Adam Blai is an advisor of religious demonology and exorcism for the diocese of Pittsburgh.  He trains priests in exorcism and is an auxiliary member of the International Association of Exorcists.  You do not want to miss this, so save the date and tell your friends!  On the evening of April 24, he will speak at Theology Uncorked for our mid-20's to mid-50's community and on April 25 from 1-4pm, we will host a Theology for All event that is OPEN TO ALL.

We need your help!  Please consider making a donation to Catholic Utah in 2020!  Money, Hotel Points, and an iPad are needed!  Thank you!
As we work ahead to plan several speakers at a time, it is critical that we receive financial support from you so we can pay to book their flights, secure venues, pay their deposits, etc.  Our ticket sales cover a portion of our expenses, but we rely on your donations so we can continue the work that we do to help educate and build community for Catholics in Utah.  Please consider donating to Catholic Utah during 2020!  We keep our overhead as low as possible and are working hard to serve you.  Thank you to those who have already donated.  We are a 501(c)(3) and all donations are tax-deductible.  Donations can be made at CatholicUtah.org/donate.  Also, if you have extra hotel points and would be willing to use them to help us book accommodations for our speakers, that would be a huge help as well!  We are also seeking a donation of an iPad that we could use at our events for day-of registrations.  If you have an unused one sitting around, we will happily accept your donation.  We are praying hard for your support and thank God for all of you!
