Greetings Catholic Utah Community! Please read the following carefully to find out what is going on in your Catholic Utah!

Events Planned By Catholic Utah:

Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who joined us to hear Jon Leonetti! He was very happy to be able to come to Utah to speak and we hope you all found his talks challenging, entertaining, and informative. Our next Theology Uncorked event will be on February 20th with Leticia Adams. At this point, our next larger event will be Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers in September, 2020. If you were unable to join us, read a bit about his wonderful message here.

Help our Catholic Utah Team!
Catholic Utah is looking for more team members to help us organize new parts of our ministry. In the upcoming year, we would like to add a monthly family Holy Hour and dinner, as well as have someone help organize service opportunities. If you are looking for a way to be more involved in building our Catholic Utah community and interested in helping with either of these, please send an email to CatholicUtah@gmail.com. The time commitment will be flexible and pretty minimal for both of these opportunities. Thank you for your help!

Catholic Utah bookclub for Mid-20's to Mid-50's Adults
Whether you plan to come once a year or every time, we would love to have you join us in reading and learning about our Catholic faith! We had almost 20 people join us for a great discussion of Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis last month. Our next meeting will be in late January/early February and we will be discussing The Lamb's Supper: The Mass as Heaven on Earth by Scott Hahn. If you are interested in being added to the list for updates about our Catholic bookclub, please email Gracie at gepalomb@gmail.com.

December 2 at 7 p.m at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1375 E. Spring Lane, Salt Lake City: "Saints Were People Too" by Rev. John E. Norman, Pastor, St. Vincent de Paul Parish
Saints are often thought of as people who lived holy and blessed lives somehow protected from the pressing cares and concerns of daily responsibilities. Many saints struggled with challenges similar to our own. We will examine the lives of a number of saints hoping to gain insight into each of their faith responses regarding vocation and discernment.
